find the length of the longest pole that can be put in a room of dimension 10m×10m×5m

Length of the longest pole will be the diagonal of the room.
The room is in the form of cuboid..
Diagonal of cuboid = √ L^2 + B^2 + H^2
= √10^2 + 10^2 + 5^2
= √100 + 100 + 25
= √225
= 15 m

Hence length of the longest pole is 15m
