Find the length of the longest thin stick that can be kept in a room whose l,b,h are 3m,2m and root 3 m respectively.

Solution :

Dimensions of the room :

length ( l ) = 3m ,

breadth ( b ) = 2m ,

height ( h ) = √3 m ,

Now ,

Longest thin stic that kept in the

room = √( l² + b² + h² )

= √ [ 3² + 2² + ( √3 )² ]

= √( 9 + 4 + 3 )

= √16

= 4 m
