Solution

As we know that

  • Height = √3/2a

Let " a " be the side of equilateral triangle

Height of equilateral triangle = √3/2a

→ √3 = √3/2a

→ 1 = 1/2a

→ 2a = 1

→ a = 1/2 unit

Perimeter equilateral triangle

→ 3a

→ 3 × 1/2 = 3/2 unit

Hence, the side of equilateral triangle is 1/2unit and its perimeter is 3/2unit

Given ,

  • height of equilateral triangle is √3 unit .

To find ,

  • the side and the perimeter of the equilateral triangle .

Here , let the side of the equilateral triangle be "x" .

We know that :

=> Height = 3/2 x

So,

the height of the equilateral triangle = √3/2 x

=> √3=√3/2 x

=> 1=1/2 x

=> 2x = 1

=> x = 1/2

the side of the equilateral triangle is 1/2 unit .

Now,

to find the perimeter we know that we have to use the formula 3x

So,

putting the value we get ;

=> 3×1/2

= > 3/2

the perimeter of the equilateral triangle is 3/2 unit .

The side and perimeter of equilateral triangle is 1/2 and 3/2
