Answer:

Sum of numbers = 55

Let one no. = x

another no. = y

According to question,

x+15=y

x+y=55

x=55-y

(55-y)+15 = y

40-y=y

2y=40

y=20

x=55-y

x=55-20

x=35

Larger number = 35

Smaller number = 20

Hope it helps

\boxed{\fbox{ANSWER}}

⇒  Let us take One number as x

So , the another number is 15 + x

--------------------------------------

x + 15 + x = 55

2x = 55 - 15

2x = 40

x = \frac{40}{2}

x = 20

--------------------------------------

So, the 1st number = 20

And the second is = 35                [20 + 15]

-----------------------------------

The Larger of the two numbers \fbox{35}

The smaller of the two numbers \fbox{20}

-------------------------------------

Thanks
