Here, OA=30cm, AB=16cm and OB=X

By using pythagorus theoram,

OB^2=OA^2+AB^2

So,

ob =  \sqrt{}oa {}^{2} + ab {}^{2} \\  =  \sqrt{}30 {}^{2} + 16 {}^{2} \\  =  \sqrt{}900 +256 =  \sqrt{}1156 = \\  = 34

Therefore length of X=34cm.

Let BC=Y

BC=16cm(AB=16cm, ABand BC are tangents, and they are from the same point also.So AB=BC)
