we know the are of equilateral triangle is root 3/ 4 * a2

a is the sides of the equilateral triangle

so putting the values. :

root 3 / 4 * a2  = root 3

root 3 gets cancelled.

1/4 * a2 = 1

taking 1/4 on the other side it becomes 4/1

a2 = 4

a = 2

the length of all sides of the triangle is 2 cm as it is given it is equilateral triangle

Question needs a few corrections:

Find the length of the each side of an equilateral triangle having an area of √3 cm².

Solution:

Information provided to us-
Area of the equilateral triangle = √3 cm²

Let each side of equilateral triangle be 's' cm.

We know that area of the equilateral triangle is equal to (√3 / 4 ) * s², where 's' denotes the measurement of each equal side.

Hence,

(√3 / 4 ) * s² = √3
=> s²√3 / 4 = √3
=> s² = √3 * ( 4 / √3 )
=> s² = 4
=> s = √4
=> s = √( 2 * 2 )
=> s = 2 cm

Therefore,

Length of each side of equilateral triangle = 2 cm
