Length of cuboid =20 units
breadth of cuboid= 10 units
height of cuboid= 40 units
Now,
Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2h (l +b)
Lsa = 2 × 40 (20 + 10)
=80 × 30
=2400 sq.units.
And
Total surface area of cuboid = 2 (lb +bh + lh)
TSA = 2 (20×10 + 10×40 + 20×40)
= 2 ( 200+400+800)
= 2 × 1400
= 2800 sq.unts
