Answer:

Since, PV = nRT

PV = W M

RT W = PVM

RT = 730

760 × 100×4

0.082× 298 g

i.e., Wt. of He = 15.72 g

Wt. of air displaced = 100 × 1.25 g/L = 125 g

Lifting power of the balloon = 125 g – 15.72 g

= 109.28 g Ans.

Hope It helps you Mate!!!

Answer:109.28g

Explanation:

PV=W/M*RT

W=PVM/RT

730 /760* 100x4/0.082x298 g

at of He =15.72

at of air displaced=100x1.25 g=125g

lifting power of balloon= 125-15.72 g=109.28g
