find the LSA and TSA of cube where side (a)=4 cm

Hi friend, Here's the required answer:-

TSA of square = 6( side)^2= 6 × (4)^2= 6×16= 96 cm ^2.

LSA of square = 4( side)^2= 4×(4)^2= 4×16= 64 cm^2.

side (a) = 4cm

lateral surface area
= 4 ( a^2)
= 4 ( 4^2)
= 4x16
=64 cm^2

total surface area
= 6(a^2)
=6 x 4^2
=6 x 16
=96cm^2
