magnitude of reaction force is 0.196 N and direction is just upward (push the coin) as shown in figure.

A coin lying on the surface of the floor. mass of coin is 20g. due to gravitation force of attraction, body have tendency to move towards the centre of the earth.

so, weight of coin , w = 20g × 9.8m/s² = 196 × 10^-3 = 0.196 N exerts on the surface of the floor.

now from Newton's 3rd law, “action and reaction are of equal in magnitude and directed in opposite directions.”

from this law, force of equal magnitude must be exerted on the coin.

so, normal reaction force applied on the coin = w = 0.196 N
