If the Molarity of NaOH is 2.5,

Then there are 2.5 moles of NaOH in one litre of water,

since Molarity = \frac{No.\:\:of\:\:moles\:\:of\:\:solute}{Vol.\:\:of \:\:solution \:\:in\:\:litres}

now, one omle of NaOH weighs 40 g

2.5 moles will weigh = 2.5 x 40 = 100g
