Answer:

How can I calculate the mass of a hydrogen molecule?

There are two types of masses in chemistry. one is molecular mass/ molar mass and the other is actual mass. molar mass of hydrogen or any element is its atomic mass where ease actual mass can be calculated by the following procedure.

( you must know the moles of the element taken)

( lets suppose we have 5 moles of Hydrogen)

then,

according to mathematical representation of mole ,

mole = mass / m.mass

( by re arranging)

mass = moles x m.mass

= 5 x 1

= 5g.
