water = H2O

water is made of 2 moles of hydrogen atom and one mole of oxygen atom.

mass of one hydrogen atom = 1u

➡ 2 mole of hydrogen atom = 1 × 2 = 2g

mass of one oxygen atom = 16u

mass ratio of water :-

⏩ 2 : 16 (divide both by 2)

⏩ 1 : 8

and total mass of water = 2 + 16 = 18u

carbondioxide = CO2

it has one mole of carbon atom and 2 mole of oxygen atom.

mass of one carbon atom = 12u

and mass of two oxygen atom = 16 × 2 = 32u

mass ratio of carbondioxide :-

⏩ 12 : 32 (divide both by 4)

⏩ 3 : 12

and total mass of carbondioxide = 12u + 32u

= 44u

if u wanna find mass ratio between water and carbondioxide then your answer is :-

⏩ 18 : 44 (divide both by 2)

⏩ 9 : 11
