Find the Maximum and minimum distance of the point (1, 2, 3) from the sphere x²+y²+z²=56

I identified that this is constrained optimisation problem which I will solve using an auxiliary function and a lagrange multiplier however I am unsure which is the constraining function.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
