Mean -

First 10 composite numbers = 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20

Mean = Sum of all observations/total number of observations
= (6+8+9+10+12+14+15+16+18+20)/10
= 138/10
Mean = 13.8

Median -

Median = Size of (N+1)/2th item
= Size of (10+1)/2th item
= 11/2th item
= 5.5th item
= (5th item + 6th item)/2
= (12 +14)/2
= 26/2
Median = 13
