hello friend : - )
===========================================================
according to your question we need to find the mean and median of first 12
odd composite numbers .
first i will tell you what are composite numbers => A whole number that can be
divided evenly by numbers other than 1 or itself. Example: 9 can be divided
evenly by 3 (as well as 1 and 9), so 9 is a composite number. But 7 cannot be
divided evenly (except by 1 and 7), so is NOT a composite number (it is a
prime number).
So we can say that first 12 odd composite numbers are => 9 ,15 , 21 , 25,
27 , 33 , 35 , 39 , 45 , 49 , 51 ,55
now we will find mean of first 12 odd composite numbers : - )
======
sum of all numbers
MEAN => -------------------------
total numbers
which means ,
mean of first 12 odd composite numbers =>
9+15+21+25+27+33+35+39+45+49+51+55
--------------------------------------------------------------- { = > 33.6
12
so here we got its mean which equals to = > 33.6 now , we will calculate the
median of first 12 composite numbers : -)
As we know that 12 is even so here are 2 middle numbers in the series of first
12 odd composite numbers and those numbers are 33 and 35
so here we got the median = >
(m +n)
median for even digit numbers = > ------------ 2
33+35
here we got the median ------------- => 34
2
median of the first 12 odd composite number is 34
