To find mean ➡

Given observations ➡ 3.75,1.5,6.5,5.25,10,12

Number of observations ➡ 6

 Mean  =  \frac{sum \: of \: observations}{number \: of \: observations}  \\  \\ Mean =  \frac{3.75 + 1.5 + 6.5 + 5.25 + 10 + 12}{6} \\  \\ Mean =  \frac{39}{6} \\  \\ Mean = 6.5

 \boxed{Mean = 6.5}

To find median ➡

Given observations ➡ 3.75,1.5,6.5,5.25,10,12

Number of observations ➡ 6

Ascending order ➡ 1.5,3.75,5.25,6.5,10,12

Median = avg \: of \:  \frac{n}{2}  \: and \:  \frac{n + 1}{2}  \\  \\ Median  =  \frac{6}{2} , \frac{6 + 1}{2}  \\  \\ Median = avg \: of \: 3 \: and \: 4 \: th \: values \\  \\ Median =  \frac{5.25 + 6.5}{2}  \\  \\ Median =  \frac{11.75}{2}  \\  \\ Median = 5.875

 \boxed{Median = 5.875}
