Answer:

a. Mean =3.53 (approx)

   Median = 3.3

   Mode=2.8

b. Mean = 85

   Median = 83

   Mode = 102

Step-by-step explanation:

a. Arranging in increasing order,

  2.8m, 2.8m, 3.2m, 3.4m, 4.4m, 4.6m

Mean = \frac{Sum  of  values}{No.  of  values}

          =(2.8+2.8+3.2+3.4+4.4+4.6) ÷ 6

          =21.2 ÷ 6

Mean =3.53 (approx)

Median is the middle value,

Median = \frac{3.2+3.4}{2}

            =6.6  ÷ 2

Median = 3.3

Mode is the most frequently occurring

Mode=2.8

b.Arranging in increasing order,

 61,63,70,75,77,80,81,85,87,95,102,102,103,109

 Using the above formulae,

Mean = (61+63+70+75+77+80+81+85+87+95+102+102+103+109) ÷ 14

          = 1190 ÷ 14

Mean = 85

Median = \frac{81+85}{2}

            = 166 ÷ 2

Median = 83

Mode = 102
