mean=sum of all observations\ total number of observations
mean=41+39+48+52+41+48+36+41+37+35\10
mean =41.8
mode=41(3 times)then 48( 2 times).
to find median arrange all numbers in ascending order . median =41.

Given,

Series = 41, 39, 48, 52, 41, 48, 36, 41, 37, 35

Total observation = 10

To Find,

Mean =?

Mode=?

Median=?

Solution,

We know from the formula that,

Mean = sum of all observation/Total observations

Mean = (41 + 39 + 48 + 52 + 41 + 48 + 36 + 41 + 37 + 35) / 10

Mean = 418 /10

Mean = 41.8

We know that mode is the number that appears maximum times in a series. So we will sort the series to find the mode.

Sorted series = 35, 36, 37, 39, 41, 41, 41, 48, 48, 52

From the sorted series, we can clearly see the frequency of 41 is maximum as it appears 3 times.

Therefore, Mode = 41

For median, we take the average of middle values which are the 5th and 6th values.

Median  = (41 + 41) / 2 =  82/2

Median = 41

Hence, the mean, median and mode of given data are 41.8, 41 and 41 respectively.
