\textbf{SOLUTION-}

Numbers - 13 , 20 , 7 , 15 , 10

Total numbers - 5

Mean is given by

\frac{Sum\:of\:observations}{Total\:number\:of\:observations}

Using this formula we get,

Mean = \frac{13+20+7+15+10}{5}

Mean = \frac{65}{5}

Mean = 13

Hence,

Mean of the numbers given = \huge{30}

Given: 13,20,7,15,10

We have to find the mean of the above data.

  • As we know that the mean of a data set is the sum of the terms divided by the total number of terms.
  • The formula for mean is:
  • \text { Mean }=\frac{\text { Sum of terms }}{\text { Number of terms }}

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

13,20,7,15,10

Here,

\text { Sum of terms }=13+20+7+15+10=65\\\text { Number of terms }=5

Now, the mean of the given data will be:

\begin{aligned}\text { Mean } &=\frac{\text { Sum of terms }}{\text { Number of terms }} \\\text { Mean } &=\frac{65}{5} \\\text { Mean } &=13\end{aligned}

Hence, we get

\begin{aligned}\text { Mean } &=13\end{aligned}
