Find the mean of the squares of the first 10 counting numbers

1^2 = 1

2^2 = 4

3^2 = 9

4^2 = 16

5^2 = 25

6^2 = 36

7^2 = 49

8^2 = 64

9^2 = 81

10^2 = 100

Mean = 1 + 4 + 9 + 16 + 25 + 36 + 49 + 64 + 81 + 100 / 10

= 385 / 10

= 38.5

So mean = 38.5

total square=10
sum of square =385
mean=sum of observation/no. of observation
mean of first 10 square=385/10=38.5
