complementary angles add up to 90.

26+x=y

x+y=90

plug y=26+x into the above equation

x+26+x=90

2x=64

x=32

The angles are 32 and 58.

=)x-y=26_____(2)

Adding eq.(1) and eq(2),we get

=)x=116/2
