Let a and b are complementary angles so a+b = 180......eq 1 According to qs We have a= b+34 Put this value in eq 1 b+34+b= 180 2b+34= 180 b= 180-34/2 b =156/2 b= 78 a= b+34 = 78+34 a =112

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

x = 107°

● Explaination -

Let x be measure of the angle.

Given that x is 34° more than its complement y.

x = y + 34°

y = x - 34°

For two complement angles,

x + y = 180°

x + x-34° = 180°

2x = 180° + 34°

2x = 214°

x = 107°

Hence, measure of the supposed angle is 107°.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
