x + 65° = 180° (AD is a straight line)

x=180°-65°

x= 115°

115° + 30° +y =180°(angle sum property of a triangle)

145°+ y = 180°

y = 180°-145°

y = 35°

X = 115 ( because of liner pair)

Y = 180 = 115 + 30 + y

180 = 145+y

180-145 = y

y =35( sum of three side of triangle is 180 )
