find the measure of OR in rhombus FIRE if measure of IO= 5 cm and FR= 6cm greater than IE

Solution:

A rhombus F I R E in which diagonal intersects at O.

IO = 5 cm

F R= 6 cm greater than IE

As diagonals of rhombus bisect each other.So,

IO=OE= 5 cm

I E= 5 + 5 = 10 cm

FR= 6 + 10 = 16 cm

O R= \frac{FR}{2}=\frac{16}{2}= 8 cm
