Answer:

∠y = 160° (Vertically Opposite Angles)

∠x + 160° = 180° (Linear Pair)

∠x = 180° - 160° = 20°

∠x = ∠z (Vertically Opposite Angles)

∠x = ∠z = 20°

Therefore,

∠x = 20°

∠y = 160°

∠z = 20°

Answer:

The angles x=z=20°, y=160°.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can find the answer in two ways:

(i) the angles x and z are opposite angles and hence they are same.

also the angles y and 160° are opposite angles ,hence they are same.

   That is ∠y=160°.

And the angles x and y are on a straight line , therefore their sum is 180°.

   since y=160°  , ∠x=180-160=20°. and hence ∠z=20°.

(ii)  Or otherwise consider two straight lines then the sum of angles of each line is 180°.

160°  and  x  are on a same line ,therefore ∠x=20°.

x and y are on same line, therefore y=180-20=160°.

Finally  y  and  z  are on same line ,therefore

z=180-160=20°

Hence the answer
