Answer:

1st answer=17

2nd answer=19.5

Step-by-step explanation:

FIRST QUESTION

Ascending order:11,13,14,16,18,23,25,31

total no. of tems=8

as the no. of terms is even( n/2th term +n/2+1 th term)/2

so 4th and 5th terms divided by 2

(16+18)/2=17

SECOND QUESTION

Ascending order:13,14,16,18,21,23,25,31

total no. of tems=8

as the no. of terms is even( n/2th term +n/2+1 th term)/2

so 4th and 5th terms divided by 2

(18+21)/2=19.5

its a bit lenghty

hope it helps you :)
