ascending order:2,3,6,13,14,17
Since there are 6 numbers ; Find the mean of (n/2 )th and( n/2 +1)th observation
i.e., Median= mean of the 3rd and 4th observation
= mean of 6 and 13
=(6+13)/2
=19/2
=9.5
