First arrange in it ascending order= 2,2,3,5,7,9,9,10,11.
No of observations = 9(odd)
Therefore median = (n+1/2)th term.
= 9+1/2
=10/2
=5th term
=7 is the answer.
hope it will help u :)

Hi there!

_______________________

Median of ungrouped data :

After arranging the given data in an ascending or descending order of magnitude the value of the middle most observation, is called the median of data.

Solution :

3, 11, 7, 2, 5, 9, 9, 2, 10.

Arranging the data in ascending order, we have :

2, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 9, 10, 11.

Here, n = 9, which is odd.

∴ Median = Value of \mathsf{( \frac{n + 1}{2} )th} term.

\mathsf{( \frac{9 + 1}{2} )th} term.

\mathsf{( \frac{10}{2} )th} term.

⇒ value of 5th term.

Hence, the median of the data is 7.
