Answer:

The median of the data is 72.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The data {66,98,54,92,87,63,72}

To find : The median of the data?

Solution :

Step 1- Arranging the data from lowest to highest,

{54,63,66,72,87,92,98}

Step 2 - Find the median of the data

As the data is odd numbers,

So the median is \frac{n+1}{2} th term.

T=\frac{7+1}{2}

T=\frac{8}{2}

T=4

4th term is the median of the data.

4th term is 72.

Therefore, The median of the data is 72.
