Hi there!

_______________________

What is Median?

After arranging the given data in the ascending or descending order of magnitude, the value of the middle most observation, is called the median of the data.

Formula to find the median :)

Method : Arrange the data in increasing or decreasing order of magnitude. Let the total number of observation be n.

(i) If n is odd, then median

⇒ Value of \mathsf{( \frac{n + 1}{2} )\th} observation.

(ii) If n is even, then median

⇒ mean of \mathsf{( \frac{n}{2} )\th} and \mathsf{( \frac{n}{2} + 1 )\th} observations.

Heyaaa mate

The answer is:-

We know that

To find :- we have to arrange the following terms in increasing order or ascending order.

Given:- 72,66,87,92,63,78

According to question,

Increasing order  63,66,72,78,87,92

The middle term of the following is:-

Middle terms = 72 and 78.

Now,

Median = \frac{1}{2}(72+78)

=> \frac{150}{2}

=> 75

\huge\boxed{75}

Hope it helps you

Thanks
