since n=8 so

(( \frac{8}{2} ) + ( \frac{8}{2}  + 1)) \div 2

  \frac{4th + 5th}{2}

so 4th term is 8.3 and 5th term is 16

:.

 \frac{8.3 + 16}{2}  =  \frac{24.3}{2 } \:  = 12.15
