The median of the data is 69.285

Step-by-step explanation:

class interval      frequency     cumulative frequency

50-60                     12                           12

60-70                      14                           26

70-80                        8                          34

80-90                        6                          40

90-100                      10                          50

now , here

n= 50

therefore \frac{n}{2}= \frac{50}{2}= 25

using formula of median

median = l+\left ( \frac{\frac{n}{2}-cf}{f}\times h \right )\\\\ = 60+ \left ( \frac{25-12}{14}\times 10\right )\\\\=60+ 9.285\\\\= 69.285

hence , The median of the data is 69.285
