Here is your answer.

Given observations = x, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, f, 23231

Number of Observations = 8 (which is a even number)

Now,

How to find the median which we have even number of Observations?

Answer – When we have even number of observations, the median is the mean of middle two observations.

So,

Here we go,

Middle two observations = 30 and 40

Median = Mean of 30 and 40

 = \frac{30 + 40}{2} \\ \\ = \frac{70}{2} \\ \\ = 35
Therefore, The median of the above observations is 35.

Hi friends

Here is your answer

Total terms = 8

so Median = Sum of forth and fifth terms/2
 =  \frac{30 + 40}{2}  \\  =  \frac{70}{2}  \\  = 35
So Median is 35

Hope it helps you
