The minimum length of a rope which can be cut into whole numbers of pieces length 36cm,48cm and 60cm is HCF of 36,48 and 60.
Prime factorization of,
36=2^2×3×2
48=2^4×3
60=2^2×3×5
HCF=product of common prime factors of least power.
=2^2×3
=12
Hence minimum length of rope which can be cut into whole numbers of peices length 36cm ,48cm,and 60cm is 12cm.

Answer:

The minimum length of a rope which can be cut into whole numbers of pieces length 36cm,48cm and 60cm is HCF of 36,48 and 60.

Prime factorisation of,

36=2x2x3x2

48=2x4x3

60=2x2x3x5

HCF=product of common prime factors of least power.

=2x2x3

=12

Hence minimum length of rope which can be cut into whole numbers of peices length 36cm ,48cm,and 60cm is 12cm.
