For Inversely proportional relation between two numbers, Their product is constant.

For example,

if A ∝  Constant/B,

Then, AB ∝ Constant.

Therefore A1B1 = A2B2

Now using this formula,

We get,

⇒ X₁Y₁ = x₂y₂

⇒ 12 * 3 = x₂ * 6

⇒ 36 = 6x₂

Therefore, X₂ = 6

Similarly, X₁Y₁ = X₃Y₃

=> 12 * 3 = 3 * Y₃

=> 36 = 3 * Y₃

Therefore, Y₃ = 12

Thus, The Series is

X ---- 12, 6, 3

Y ----- 3, 6, 12

Answer:

here

Step-by-step explanation:

So using this we can plug in x and y to find the value of k. 3 = k/4. Next we ... Given values of x =4 and y=3, k= 4*3=12 (Use equation 1).
