Answer:

The missing number in the series is 15.

Solution:

Given,

The given series is 0,2,2,3,3,5,8,4,10,?,5,17

Now divide the above equation in three series:

STEP 1: The number in the position of 1st, 4th, and 7th is 0, 3, 8… (Difference of prime number)

STEP 2;The number in the position of 2nd,5th,8th , 11th are 2, 3, 4, 5… (Difference of one)

STEP 3:  The number in the position of 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, are 2, 5, 10, 17…  (If we add the series 3, 5, 7… to each given number will get this series)

And the missing number will be the 10th number,

So the answer is  8 + 7 = 15
