Given:

4,5,7,11,19,?

To Find:

The missing number

Solution:

To find the missing term we first need to find the pattern the previous numbers are following

let us start by finding the difference between the numbers

5-4=1

7-5=2

11-7=4

19-11=8

as we can observe that the difference is getting double its previous value, so the difference for the next tern will be 8*2=16 so to find the next term we will add 16 to the last tern that is 19 getting 19+16=35

Hence, the missing number in sequence 4,5,7,11,19 is 35.

Note:

whenever you find such type of question try to find the difference or multiplication see something in the square roots and practice some so that you get a hang of how to approach for finding the pattern
