Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

arrange in ascending order

12,12,12,13,14.14,14,16 ,19

12 and 14 occur maximum [3]  times

so two mode  12 and 14

there are 9 terms

so the 5th term is median the median is  14

to find out median we have to arrange the data in ascending order.

so,

12,12,12,13,14,14,14,16,19.

to find median when n is odd-

where n means frequency or number of times observation occurs.

n=9

median = value of 1/2(n+1)th observation.

median = 1/2(9+1)th observation

=1/2(10) th observation

=5th observation.

5th observation =14

so,

median= 14.

mode = 3(median)-2(mean)

we have median but mean is required to find out mode.

so,

mean= sum of given observation/

number of given observation

mean=

12+12+12+13+14+14+14+16+19 / 9

= 126/9

= 14

mode = 3(median)-2(mean)

= 3(14)-2(14)

= 42-28

=14.
