Let P , V be the pressure and Volume of gas at temperature T

P1V1=RT

P2(V1+dv)=R(T+1)

∴P2=RT+R

Since P2/(V1+dv)=1

⇒2(δP/δT) =R

⇒(δP2/δT)=R/2

Since, C=Cv+δP/δT

=3R/2+R/2

= 2R
