1) HNO3

= Atomic mass of Hydrogen+ Atomic mass of Nitrogen + Atomic mass of Oxygen

= 1+14+16×3

= 1+14+48

= 15+48

= 63u

2)CuSO4

= Atomic mass of Copper + Atomic mass of sulphur + Atomic mass of oxygen

= 63.5+32+16×4

= 63.5+32+64

= 159.5u

3)KOH

= Atomic mass of Potassium + Atomic mass of oxygen+ Atomic mass of hydrogen

= 39+16+1

= 39+17

= 56u

Answer:

(1). molecular mass of H+molecular mass of N+ 3(molecular mass of O)

HNO3=1+14+16×3

=1+14+48

=63

(2) molecular mass of Cu+molecular mass of S+4(molecular mass of O)

CuSO4=63.5+32+4×16

=159.5

(3) molecular mass of k+ molecular mass of O+MOLECULAR MASS OF O

KOH=39+1+16

=56
