Given,

1/2mv²= 20

v² =>40/0.1

V² => 400

v =20m/s.

Momentum = MV

momentum => 20×0.1

P= 2 kg m/s.

hope this helps you a little!!!

Momentum of a body is the energy stored in it due to it's motion and kinetic energy is the energy gained by it's motion.

Momentum is the product of mass and velocity of a body and is defined by the expression :

\bigstar \: \orange{\mid{\underline{\overline{\textbf{p = mv}}}\mid}}

In this equation :

  • p = momentum
  • m = mass of body
  • v = velocity of body

On the other hand, the kinetic energy of body is defined as half of product of its mass and square of velocity. It is defined by the expression :

\bigstar \: \orange{\mid{\underline{\overline{\textbf{1 /2(mv2)}}}\mid}}

In this equation :

  • m = mass of body
  • v = velocity of body

It is given that :

mass of body = 100g =0.1kg

Kinetic energy = 20J

Momentum = m =?

Now if kinetic energy of body is 20J , then we can say that :

\mapsto \: 20 =  \frac{0.1 \times  {v}^{2} }{2}

\mapsto \:  \frac{40}{0.1}  =  {v}^{?}

\mapsto \: 400 =  {v}^{2} \\  \\ \mapsto \: v =  \sqrt{400 }  = 20

Therefore velocity of body is 20m/s

Now its momentum is :

\mapsto \: p = 0.1 \times 20 = 2

Therefore momentum of body is 2kgm/s.
