The number which is divisible by 42 will be divisible by 2, 3 and 7 together.

With the above logic, 168, 210, 252, 294, 336, 378, 420, and 462 will be the numbers in between, Count is 8.

Other method. Both 500 and 150 are not divisible by 42. Their difference is 350. Quotient will be 8 when 350 is divided by 42. 8 is the answer
