Step-by-step explanation:

a=2,b=-6,c=3

D=b^2-4ac

=(-6)^2-4×2×3

=36-24

=12

=/0

hence roots are real but distinct

now roots i.e x={-b+-√D}/2a

={-(-6)+-(√12)}/2×2

=(6+-2√3)/4

=(6+2√3)/4,(6+-2√3)/4

=(3+√3)/2,(3-√3)/2.
