see this is a very good question it made me thinking

the digits of the numbers are squares of natural no.s like

14 contains 1 and 4 i.e. square of 1 and 2

916 contains 9 and 16 which are square of 3 and 4

2536 contains 25 and 36 which are square of 5 and 6

so the next number must be containing

7 square and 8 square

i.e. 49 and 64

so the final answer is

4964 OPTION (C)
