Find the no of moles in 186g of Sodium oxide

[ no of moles = given weight of substance ÷gram molecular mass of substance ]

given:

wt of given sodium oxide =186 gm

sodium oxide GMM=62 gm        (molecular mass)

substitute values in formula,

                      no of moles = 186÷62

                                           = 3 moles

∴ 186 gm of sodium oxide contains 3 moles of sodium oxide
