SOLUTION :

Given : a and b are relatively prime numbers.

RELATIVELY PRIME NUMBERS :

When two numbers have no common factors other than 1.

They are also called "coprime" or "mutually prime".

For é.g :

★★ Let a = 2 and b = 7 are relatively prime:

The factors of 2 : 1,2

The factors of 7 : 1,7

LCM (2,7) = 1× 2 ×7 = 2 × 7 = 14

LCM (2,7) = 14

LCM (a,b) = ab

Hence, the LCM of a and b is ab.

★★LCM = LCM of two or more numbers =  product of the greatest power of each common prime factor involved in the numbers with highest power.
