Hello there
nth term of any AP can be given by
T(n) = a + (n-1)d
Here
a= 3
d= 1-3= -2
Therefore
T(n) = 3 + (n-1)×-2
T(n) = 3 + -2n + 2
T(n) = 5 - 2n

shreela: can't we find value of n?
Dhruv00: no u can only find the value of any term of that ap
Dhruv00: say u want to find the 10th of that ap
Dhruv00: putting n= 10 ,we get T(10)= 5- 10×2= -15
shreela: okay got it , tnx
Dhruv00: understood?
