a = x - 1 \\ common \: difference =  - 1 \\ nth \: term = a + (n - 1)d \\  = (x - 1) - (n - 1) \\ x - n

➡We will observe that,

➡The (x-) part of each term remains the same while the digit increases each time.

➡So,

➡The terms till 9th,

➡x-1, x-2, x-3, x-4, x-5, x-6, x-7, x-8, x-9...

➡So,

➡The ninth term = x-9
