Hii There!!!
Since, numbers lying between 100 and 1000 will be three digit numbers.
So, it can be arranged in ___ , ____, ____ places.
i.e, at unit, tens and hundreds place.
If we put 0 at unit's place then the number will be a two digit number.
Hence, we can't consider 0 at unit's place.
Hence, number of arrangements at hundreds place = 5
Similarly, number of arrangements at tens place = 5
And number of arrangements at units place = 4
Therefore, total number of ways = 5 × 5 × 4
= 100 ways.
